Bogdány Petrol Ltd. has the design and manufacturing ability to offer a range of cable filling compounds for use in the production of telephone and optical cables. These include primarily underground cables and specially formulated applications. These can be created in an array of viscosities and densities, some with properties to expand to fill voids that may occur during installation or form natural aging and environmental

circumstances. All products are non-dielectric and impervious to fungal growth. We already today offer a wide array of filling and flooding compounds and are equipped to formulate a product to match every cable size, tube material, application processing equipment type and environmental use.

LUNECTRA® series

OPTICAL CABLE FILLING COMPOUNDS

The LUNECTRA® series are pseudoplastic, synthetic and special oil based thixotropic compounds. These series have very high heat oxidation stability. They have elastic attributes as well as very good dielectric properties. They can also be used for elevated line speed and are available in liquid-like consistency (Newtonian) for filling small tubes at extreme high line speed.

You can find in offer both warm or cold applicable compounds.

All products are compatible with cable components such as tubing materials PBT, PA and others.

RANGE OF MAIN TECHNICAL PARAMETERS:
  • Viscosity range @25°C: 5 000-30 000 mPa

  • Cone Penetration @25°C: 290-400 (1/10 mm)

  • Volatility @100°C/24h: <0,2%

  • Oil separation @80°C/24h: none

TKT series

COPPER CABLE FILLING COMPOUNDS

The TKT product series are developed for underground communication cables to prevent the penetration of moisture and water. Products are available with different dropping point characteristics.

TKT products are jelly type products for cold, hot and mixed application. It is an excellent choice for using under European and tropical climate conditions.

RANGE OF MAIN TECHNICAL PARAMETERS:
  • Viscosity range @100°C: 18-40 mm2/s

  • Dropping point: 60-90°C

  • Cone Penetration @25°C: 50 (1/10 mm)

  • Dielectric constant @100°C: 2,3

  • Specific resistivity @100°C: 1012 Ohmx10mm

  • Corrosion @80°C, 14 days: none
